Position Available: Property Accountant
Location: Cleveland, OH
The Property Accountant is responsible for the financial reporting needs of a portfolio of properties and projects, ensuring that all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting/ risk management, & customer service functions are performed in an Accurate/ Reviewed, & Timely manner. The Property Accountant executes duties with the highest regard for financial performance, operational functions/ & the best interests of the Company. The Property Accountant bears responsibility, within his or her portfolio, for the team’s efforts to maximize productivity, efficiency, creativity, strategic problem solving, and customer service.

Company is a full-service property management firm that manages a diverse portfolio of properties consisting of homeowner associations, apartments, shopping centers and office buildings. They have a long history in real estate, construction and development and they are continually growing their portfolio. They have approximately 100 properties under management w/ approx. 90 team members and a tremendous culture!
Key Requirements:

College degree & a minimum of two years related experience, preferably in a real estate development/property management environment.

3+ years’ accounting experience, preferably in a leadership role.

Strong core accounting skills and knowledgebase.

Excellent financial software and general computer literacy & facility.

Experience reading and interpreting financial reports.
