Position Available: Director of Maintenance
Location: Columbia, South Carolina
The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the Maintenance Department for the Company. The incumbent is responsible for the tracking and monitoring of facility repair, maintenance of systems and equipment, maintenance of buildings, grounds, request for service, and utility systems of Company’s properties and communities. The incumbent also leads the warehouse, work order and fleet operations, and is responsible for overseeing maintenance training, reviewing and providing technical guidance on assignments, and supervising maintenance staff and supervisors.

Company provides and facilitates affordable housing resources for nearly 6,500 low-income households comprised of approximately 16,000 people. They currently manage 25+ multifamily buildings totaling over 1,600 units as well as 250+ single family homes.
Key Requirements:

3+ years in a regional/director of maintenance leadership role overseeing a portfolio totaling 2,000+ units and leading a team of maintenance professionals.

Must have excellent communication and team leadership skills. They are looking for a player/coach!

Strong administrative/computer skills with the ability to generate reports, budgets, etc.

Must have strong technical skills and professional training/certifications.
